Introduction video clip of Walkbot rehabilitation robot made by Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement.

The medical rehabilitation field of robot  industry has been a major contribution to happiness of mankind. Now is the time for the first leaping step of medical rehabilitation field of robot industry in Korea.
P&S mechanics who is the top player in the field of rehabilitation manufactures Walkbot for patients. The Walkbot is the gait training robot system for medical rehabilitation.
(Sales manager : Lim James) Patients with muscle weakness usually begin gait training after physical therapy. However, with our Walkbot, the patient can start much safer gait training because the robot attached to the patient's body moves the legs. A front camera and objective data let the patient monitor his gait performance by himself. Training exercise are conducted through various games, which increases the patient's willingness to participate. Unlike other robots, Walkbot uses its ankle joints and prevents toe drag during training. An automatic system adjusts the length between the joints of the robot to 1mm. In doing so, the robot assists the movements of all the joints necessary for gait and ensures more precise and natural gait training. The robot has already proven itself: no side effects have been reported at home or abroad. There are models specifically for adults(Walkbot_S) and for chlildren(Walkbot_K) and those for both adult and children (Walkbot_G). Walkbot ensure quick  recovery by providing an optimized training environment for each patient and making rehabilitation training safe and pleasant.

The robot industry is leading the future of all mankind. The robot industry in Republic of Korea also is utilized in everyday life in addition to industrial usage.
